This piece was a collaborative effort using unfinished artwork pieces from the late Carrie Cox. I am grateful to have met her while we were both at Wedge Studios. She was always so friendly and insightful. This piece was created using various paper/foam pieces from Carrie’s collection. Each layer contains Carrie’s pieces overlayed with markers and acrylic paint. This is my first attempt to have 3D elements in my artwork.
This piece was created for a group show in May to honor Carrie. All proceeds from the sale of this piece will go to Carrie’s husband, Brian, and donated to their favorite animal charity.
