The Flood
2024
Acrylic + Marker
74” x 62” canvas, framed
Series: Attachment
A flood of emotion, thoughts, and ways of being. Confusion, rage, joy, and sadness. A massive wash up of feelings hoping to dry out soon. Subconsciously infused colors for how I want things to be and painted over memories I want to believe are not real. Every past moment has shaped this one now, and to forget completely where I came from feels short sided. Let the flood wash over me as I learn to swim in this new chapter. I'm ready.
