Attempting to detach and focus on creating a bouquet of flowers. I failed. I cannot suppress or bury my feelings for our community, for our country. There is hope throughout this painting, but I know better than to try to disengage. Explosions of emotion, gentle reminders of hope, and a flood of layers all showed themselves within this work. The frame helps keep it from vibrating off the canvas.
